I don't like the wording of the added sentence in the third paragraph.

It does not fit with the flow of that paragraph.  I do want the letter

to capture the intent of the added sentence.  It just needs to fit

better.  I would suggest that the paragraph be modified as follows:

 

IEEE 802.16 is now working on an extension to the standard to support

mobile systems at frequencies below 6 GHz.    Additionally, the IEEE

802.20 Working Group is developing mobile broadband wireless standards.

Therefore, the purpose of this contribution is to propose to initiate

the development of a similar Recommendation in the M-series for

interoperability standards for systems operating in the mobile service

below 6 GHz.

 

With this change, I will vote APPROVE.
