IEEE 802 Executive Committee,

I move that the EC approve the attached press release on the new
IEEE 802.19 project to develop a Recommended Practice for methods to
assess coexistence of wireless networks.

I would request that someone second this motion. Any takers?

This press release is for the PAR that the EC approved
unanimously at the closing Friday meeting. We did not have the press
release ready at that time so as I mentioned then we decided to run an
EC electronic ballot. Karen McCabe has seen the press release and has
already made her editing changes, though of course she will get to
review it again in case we make any changes.

This is a 10-day letter ballot that closes on Thursday March 30
at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Regards,
Steve

SteveS, EC Members,

I grant Steve Shellhammer the authority to conduct a 10-day EC
electronic
ballot on the 802.19 press release motion--but only after Steve obtains
a
second for the motion.

Regards,

--Paul
