Re: [802SEC] 802.11k PAR Extension for July 2006 Session

Pat,

Well 3 Pairs of eyes missed this, and yes you are right it is a true
H.G.Wells error.

I should in future address you as eagle eyed as a complement. Good catch.

>>>The date you began writing your first draft (6b) is incorrect

It SHOULD have read 26-mar-03 AND NOT 03-jul-06

The form has been updated and included in this email, and copied to Jodi
Haasz at IEEE.

/ Stuart

The date you began writing your first draft (6b) is incorrect (unless
someone in your group has a time machine).

Pat

Subject: [802SEC] 802.11k PAR Extension for July 2006 Session
Importance: High

802 EC Members,

802.11 will be submitting an Extension Request for the 802.11k PAR for
approval during the July 2006 Plenary; the completed PAR Extension Form as
discussed and reviewed with Jodi Haasz, the TGk Chair, and myself, and
existing IEEE-SA Approved 802.11k PAR are therefore being circulated to meet
the 30-day requirement as per the current 802 P&P.

The 802.11k PAR Extension was approved at the Jacksonville Interim Session
of the 802.11 WG by the following votes:

- Task Group k (P802.11k) results (affirmative, negative, abstain): 7, 0, 0

- 802.11 WG results (affirmative, negative, abstain): 57, 0, 0

I intend to ask for reconfirmation of the WG vote on Monday at our
802.11 opening session at the San Diego session.

The Documentation is as follows:

- IEEE-SA Standards Board Extension Request for P802.11k on current form
(Attached)

- P802.11k - Radio Resource Measurement (Existing IEEE-SA Approved PAR):

/ Stuart
