It is time to take a moment to reflect and think of a collegue whom you admire and wish to honor. The deadline for the IEEE Computer Society 2006 Technical Achievement Awards program is rapidly approaching, nominations must be received by 1 October 2006.
The Technical Achievement award was developed to acknowledge those individuals who have made "outstanding and innovative contributions to the fields of computer and information
science and engineering or computer technology, usually within the past 10, and not more than 15, years. Contributions must have significantly promoted technical progress in the field."
Individuals who receive this distinguished honor are presented with a certificate and $2,000 honorarium.

In order to successfully nominate using this online form you will need to be prepared to provide a citation, description of the technical achievement, and list 3 additional personal references.
