Re: [802SEC] +++EC Email ballot closed 17SEP2006+++ Motion to approve the attached EC response to inquiry regarding the SC6 review of 8802-1

I'm about to board a plane for the .3 meeting in Tennessee which will put us nearly maximally out of sync in time zones. I probably won't have a chance to respond until Monday.

G'day Paul

I am at the IEEE 802.11 meeting in Melbourne this week. I will spend
today processing and responding to the comments from Tony, Carl, Geoff
and Pat. I will attempt to modify the ppt to satisfy as many concerns as
possible, without detracting from its essence. To allow us to have
another ballot later this week could everyone please respond to my
e-mails today as soon as possible.

Thanks

Andrew

approve the attached EC response to inquiry regarding the SC6 review of
8802-1

Dear EC Members,

The below ballot has until the end of the day today (17SEP2006) It
currently has very poor of response (of 16 EC members, only Tony and
Carl cast negative ballots and Geoff provided comments.)

Given the lack of response, it is unlikely this ballot will pass.
Andrew, please attempt to address the negative comments and begin
preparing a new motion for consideration immediately.

Regards,
