Forwarded here is a liaison from ITU-R WP8F regarding the preliminary
draft new Report ITU-R M.[IP CHAR], "Key technical and operational
characteristics for access technologies to support IP applications over
land mobile systems". IEEE 802 had previously submitted inputs on this
topic. There is no need for a response to this liaison.
It is expected that the preliminary draft new Report will be approved at
the June 2007 SG8 meeting.
