[802SEC] September 2007 SASB update

All,

I am attending the IEEE SA Standards Board meeting today 27SEP2007. The below decisions affecting 802 LMSC were made by SASB upon approval of the SASB agenda as consent agenda items this morning.  

I invite our LMSC EC colleagues that were present at the 25&26SEP SASB meetings (PatCom, NesCom, RevCom, others?) to describe any other actions or discussions of interest to 802 LMSC as I was not present at those meetings.  (I will post the draft minutes of last night's 802 Task Force meeting in a separate email.)

Policy and Procedure Decisions:

The Audit Committee unanimously approves the acceptance of the Computer Society LAN/MAN (LMSC) P&P document until December 2008 and makes this recommendation to the Standards Board.

Approve withdrawal at the request of the sponsor.
