  Dear EC members,

Attached below is a notice sent to the 802.20 Sponsor Ballot group members earlier today clarifying the process that will be used in carrying out the sponsor ballot. Since the process is outside the normal process, I thought you should all be informed in the event you are asked questions about it.

  Regards,

  --Paul

  Dear Sponsor Ballot Group Member,

As of 9DEC2007 the attached document contains the current list of entities into which ballot group members are known to be affiliated with.

Per the 5DEC07 SASB resolution, the ballot group members affliated with a particular entity will be aggregated into a bloc. Each bloc will have one Approve/Disapprove/Abstain vote allocated to it in the 802.20 WG Sponsor Ballot ("the bloc-list"). A more precise definition of the Sponsor Ballot process is attached along with the 05DEC07 SASB resolution.

The bloc-list is not complete yet--you may need to respond to this email to have your entity added to the bloc-list.

If the entity you are affiliated with is included in the bloc-list, and you declared the your affiliation properly during the Sponsor Ballot sign-up, no further action is needed on your part.

If your affiliation is not included in the bloc-list, please send an email to the 802.20 WG Chair greenspan to request your affiliation be added to the bloc-list. You have until Thursday 13 DEC2007 AOE to respond to this email.

As a reminder, the definition of affiliation is at http://standards.ieee.org/faqs/affiliationFAQ.html

  Regards

  --Paul Nikolich-
  LMSC Sponsor Chair
