Hello 802 EC members!
I was asked to introduce myself to you all via the reflector in
anticipation of the affirmation vote that will occur during Friday's
closing EC meeting.
My Name is Jon Rosdahl, and my affiliation is CSR.
I celebrate my 15th Anniversary of participating in 802 sessions this
month.
Over the course of the 15 years, I have served in various positions:
Vice-Chair of 802.11 for 2.5 years.
Chair HT SG
Outspoken TGnSync and JP Proposal Team leader
Member of the 802 Taskforce
Assisted Various Assignments - P&P, Counting, etc.
I currently serve as a member of the IEEE-SA
IEEE-SA Standards Board
NesCom
I am also a Senior Member of the IEEE
This week I was elected to serve as the 802.11 Vice Chair, I would ask
for your vote to affirm the decision of the 802.11 working group. I
have submitted a letter of affiliation and endorsement to the Recording
Secretary per the IEEE 802 P&P and a courtesy copy has been given to
Paul and Stuart.
I look forward to getting to know each of you better as we work together
to facilitate the creation of standards that meet the needs of our
respective industries and markets.
