If we do this, I think we should strictly limit the number of items and
allow plenty of time for discussion.  Often at plenary, if I have an
issue, I can take time beforehand to discuss it directly with the Chair.
 With the teleconference, that probably would not have happened.

That said, perhaps we can limit it to certain items that need timely
consideration for the Standards Board meeting deadlines.  I agree with
Pat that while delaying a PAR 4 months can seem like a bad thing, the SG
can still get a lot of work done while waiting for the next cycle.

If necessary for procedure, we can have the meeting to discuss and
follow with immediate email ballots, still accomplishing the goal of
streamlining the process.

Pat also has a good suggestion in that we should tackle those issues
that get the short shrift at our meetings due to our busy schedules.
That may be best, particularly if we limit the topics in the session to
just a few.
