MEETING INFORMATION UPDATE #1 for the July 2011 IEEE-802 Plenary Session:

We hope you are planning on attending the July 2011 IEEE-802 Plenary Session
in spectacular San Francisco !!! J
All Working Group meetings along with all tutorials and Calls-for-Interest
will be held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco on the Embarcadero Plaza
during the week of July 17-22, 2011.
Special Group Rates are now available at Hyatt Regency (on Embarcadero) and
Grand Hyatt San Francisco (at Union Square).
Both properties satisfy our housing requirement for the reduced registration

SINGLE / DOUBLE OCCUPANCY: $209.00 US/night plus applicable taxes
EXTRA ADULT PERSONS (>2): $30.00 US/night/(person >21)

Note: Group rates deadline subject to room availability. Please book as

CANCELLATION POLICY:
No charge for reservations cancelled prior to 6pm (San Francisco Time = PDT)
on Date of Arrival; after this time 1-night room plus taxes will be charged.
EXTENDED DATES:

Registration Fees and Hotel Discount:
The Registration Fee will be discounted by $300 US for attendees booking &
staying one or more nights in the 802-contracted hotels: Hyatt Regency or
Grand Hyatt San Francisco.
Note: repayment of the $300 discount will be required at registration, if
your hotel stay cannot be verified by the hotel (i.e. your name must appear
on the hotel's list of registered guests).
Message from the IEEE 802 Meeting Manager:
Session Registration: Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that
is a scheduled part of an IEEE-802 Plenary Session must register for the
session and pay the required fees.
Registration is available through a secure website. Session registrations
are not transferable to another individual or to another plenary session.
If you register for an IEEE-802 session and then are unable to attend, you
must request cancellation of your registration before the cancellation
deadline to be eligible for a refund of all or part of the fees paid.
Cancellation requests may be submitted via a link on the left of the event

Session Registration Details:
Web registration requires valid credit card information for the payment of
the registration fee; checks are NOT accepted for web-registration.
