[802SEC] ITU-R Liaison regarding "WIDE-AREA SENSOR AND/OR ACTUATOR NETWORK (WASN) SYSTEMS"

Dear EC,

Please find attached a liaison from ITU-R WP5A regarding work that they are doing on "WIDE-AREA SENSOR AND/OR ACTUATOR NETWORK (WASN) SYSTEMS". This topic may be of interest to several WGs.

WP5A meets again beginning on 8 November 2011. Therefor any responses to WP5A need to be received in Geneva by 16:00 UTC on 1 November 2011. That would suggest that work on this topic at least begin at the July Plenary.

There have been other earlier versions of this liaison circulated within 802. While I am not currently aware of any significant differences but the attachment is the official version as sent by the ITU-R to external organizations.
