[802SEC] 802.18 Items for Friday's Closing Plenary
Dear EC,
This week 802.18 has approved four documents all developed by 802.16. It should be noted that all of these documents are addressing areas unique to 802.16 (e.g. IMT) or as a follow up contribution.
Those approved and related to IMT are:
18-11-0063-01-0000 - IMT-2000 Roadmap Update for OFDMA TDD WMAN - This provides an update of the IMT-2000 Roadmap. This is an update to previously submitted material.
18-11-0064-01-0000 - IMT-2000 OFDMA TDD WMAN SUBMISSION TOWARD REVISION 11
OF RECOMMENDATION ITU-R M.1457 (MEETING X+1) - This contribution contains updated material on IMT-2000 OFDMA TDD WMAN toward Revision 11 of Recommendation ITU-R M.1457.
18-11-0067-01-0000 - VOCABULARY TERMS AND ABBREVIATIONS RELATED TO IEEE 802.16 IN PRELIMINARY DRAFT REVISION OF RECOMMENDATION ITU-R M.1224 - This contribution contains updated material and proposes to simplify the format of the 802.16 data currently in M.1224.
The WP5A contribution that was approved is a further response in regards to that WPs work on "MOBILE WIRELESS ACCESS SYSTEMS PROVIDING TELECOMMUNICATIONS FOR A LARGE NUMBER OF UBIQUITOUS SENSORS AND/OR ACTUATORS SCATTERED
OVER WIDE AREAS IN THE LAND MOBILE SERVICE".
18-11-0065-01-0000 - RESPONSE TO ITU-R WP5A ON WASN SYSTEMS - This is a further contribution from 802.16 on this topic.
All of the above documents are either specific to 802.16 and IMT-2000/IMT-Advanced and/or are updates of previous contributions.. Because of that I propose that they be on the consent agenda.
