[802SEC] Conditional approval to submit P802.1Q Corrigendum 2 to RevCom - report of actions

Colleauges -

In accordance with the conditional approval granted at the closing EC meeting in San Diego, a recirculation ballot was conducted on the revised draft, with the following results:

BALLOT OPEN DATE: 13-Aug-2012
BALLOT CLOSE DATE: 23-Aug-2012
TYPE: New
DRAFT #: D2.1
BALLOTS RECEIVED: 1
COMMENTS: 1
MUST BE SATISFIED COMMENTS: 1
RESPONSE RATE
This ballot has met the 75% returned ballot requirement.
79 eligible people in this ballot group.
66 affirmative votes
3 negative votes with comments
0 negative votes without comments
3 abstention votes: (Lack of expertise: 2, Lack of time: 1)
72 votes received = 91% returned
4% abstention
APPROVAL RATE
The 75% affirmation requirement is being met.
66 affirmative votes
3 negative votes with comments
69 votes = 95% affirmative

The only change in voting from the initial ballot was the addition of one more abstention.
There has been no change to the approval rate. I have contacted the disapprove voters to ask whether they wish to change their votes to Approve in the light of the disposition of their comments, but have not had any responses so far.
There was only one comment made on the recirculation ballot, by Michelle Turner, indicating that the draft meets editorial requirements.

Given the above, there is no need for any further changes to the draft, and as the conditional approval conditions have now been met, I have submitted this project to RevCom.

Regards,
Tony
