I think the issue is that when the link 'IEEE 802 Plenary/Interim meeting information' from the IEEE 802 home page <http://www.ieee802.org/> takes you to the URL <http://www.ieee802.org/meeting/index.html> which is titled 'IEEE 802 Meeting Information'. As Pat has pointed out the only 'Meeting Information & Registration' link on that page reads 'IEEE 802 Wireless Interim Session - January 2013' although if you click on that link it actually takes you to the May 2013 Wireless Interim Session registration. There is no link on the IEEE 802 Home Page to the <http://802world.org/plenary> URL you mention.

I have no objection to an extension, but I have to say that I've been mystified by the problem reports.
There are two places on the page that link to Plenary info at <http://802world.org/plenary>. One is labelled:
Future Plenary Meeting Schedule (HTML)
and the other is labelled:
Future Sessions
Both of these buttons are working.
There is also a link to the wireless interim info page <http://802world.org/wireless>. I don't think that is harmful, but it appears to be causing confusion. Perhaps the text label on the link should be something like "IEEE 802 Wireless Interim Information Page", and perhaps it should be moved down into the list below. And there is no need to reference the meeting date; that just makes it a maintenance item.

Hi Paul, The early registration deadline was set 2-weeks earlier than normal to encourage people to get their reservations in early because of the overlap with IETF, but I continue to believe this is non-productive and onerous for many of our members. We can easily extend the deadline by 1 or 2 weeks to avoid some serious push-back from our members. We have done this before and I believe we could do it again for this time to give folks some more leeway. Going early makes sense for nNA sessions where we need the extra time, but not for NA sessions.

You have a reasonable request. I am not sure what it will take to delay the early registration deadline close, but I think an extension of one week should be sufficient.

Instead I am forwarded to the May 12-17, 2013 Waikoloa, HI meeting.
I believe the deadline should be extended, as there is clearly a webpage issue, and I do not know if I will be able to get this issue resolved and register as I will be traveling home tomorrow. I believe given the 802.3 interim meeting this week - many others will be in a similar situation.
