Re: [802SEC] 802.18 - Closing Plenary materials



Dear John and EC,

 

Please find the documents/motions/vote totals and links for the five documents that 802.18 approved this week. I am requesting that all five be place on Friday’s consent agenda.

 

All of these documents have been available on the IEEE 802.18 Mentor web site since Thursday morning.

 

ME - Proposed LS to ITU-R WP 5D: Update toward Rec. ITU-R M.1457-12 (Meeting X Notification) (18-13/034r1) https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/13/18-13-0034-01-0000-proposed-ls-to-itu-r-wp-5d-update-toward-rec-itu-r-m-1457-12-meeting-x-notification.docx This provides data for the update of Recommendation ITU-R M.1457-12 for IMT. IEEE 802.16 is the only IEEE 802 group involved with IMT.

 

ME - Proposed Cont. to ITU-R WP 5D- Update of WirelessMAN-Advanced RIT of Rec. ITU-R M.2012 (Meeting Y+2)    (18-13/035r2) https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/13/18-13-0035-02-0000-proposed-cont-to-itu-r-wp-5d-update-of-wirelessman-advanced-rit-of-rec-itu-r-m-2012-meeting-y-2.zip This provides data for the update of Recommendation ITU-R M.2012 dealing with IMT-Advanced. IEEE 802.16 is the only IEEE 802 group involved with IMT.

 

ME - Proposed Statement to IETF LMAP on IEEE P802.16.3 Activity (18-13/036r0) https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/13/18-13-0036-00-0000-proposed-statement-to-ietf-lmap-on-ieee-p802-16-3-activity.docx This is a letter from IEEE 802.16 to IETF LMAP and provides copies to FCC staff who are participating there.

 

ME - Proposed statement to BBF: Response to liaison of 8 March on Performance Measurements Architecture (18-13/037r1) https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/13/18-13-0037-01-0000-proposed-statement-to-bbf-response-to-liaison-of-8-march-on-performance-measurements-architecture.docx Proposed Statement to Broadband Forum on IEEE P802.16.3 Activity.

 

ME - IEEE 802 Input to WP5A on 5 GHz (18-13/038r3) https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/13/18-13-0038-03-0000-ieee-802-input-to-wp5a-on-5-ghz.docx This is from IEEE 802.11 and is in regard to the use of the 5 GHz frequency band.

 

John, if the descriptions are too long please feel free to “prune” them down.
