Re: [802SEC] +++ 10 day EC email ballot +++ request engagement in the revision of the PSDO (partner standards development organization) agreement between IEEE and ISO

Paul,

As I read the motion, it would not have any effect until the asterisk action is completed; but, since the completion of the asterisk would require, at minimum, further action of the EC, then I'd like to understand in what ways the motion moves the ball forward.

Motion: The IEEE 802 EC respectfully requests the IEEE SA actively engage select* IEEE 802 JTC1 members in the revision process of the PSDO agreement, as IEEE 802 is a critical stakeholder in any outcome of the PSDO revision process. (see below IEEE 802 JTC1 SC motion)
*as agreed to by the IEEE 802 EC and IEEE SA

Moved: Adrian Stephens
Second: Glenn Parsons

Start of ballot: Tuesday 13 January 2015
Close of ballot:   Friday 23 January 2015, 11:59PM AOE

Early close: As required in subclause 4.1.2 'Voting rules' of the IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC) Operations Manual, this is notice that, to ensure the release is provided in a timely manner, this ballot may close early once sufficient responses are received to clearly decide a matter.
