[802SEC] Liaison from ITU-R WP5D inviting proposals for candidate radio

Please find attached a liaison from ITU-R WP5D announcing the invitation to submit proposals for candidate radio interface technologies (RITs) for IMT-2020. Included is an addendum which provides further information on the invitation for submission of proposals for candidate radio interface technologies for the terrestrial components of the radio interface(s) for IMT-2020 and invitation to participate in their subsequent evaluation.

WP5D expects that the evaluation guidelines, including the criteria and methodology, are to be finalized by WP 5D in June 2017.

I will be glad to discuss the process further. Please note that recently the ITU has ceased using ZIP for compressing files and is now using RAR in its place. Hence future liaisons from ITU-R may include that file compression format.
