Dear Dr. Hyun Kook Kahn and Mr. Yun-Jae Won,

Please see the attached liaison statement (LS) regarding The IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee's concerns relating to the proposed formation of a Security Ad Hoc within ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6.  As described in the LS, we warmly welcome representatives of the China National Body and all SC6 National Body members to discuss security topics with the IEEE 802 Security experts at our upcoming July 2017 plenary session to be held in Berlin, Germany.
