Re: [802SEC] PARs Uploaded



I understand why Rich is driving - it is a change in scope (frequency of operation) due to changes in regulations. It is a reasonable change.  The project timeline has sponsor balloting more than a year away, so there seems time to work a PAR change through the WG.There are other issues with the PAR scope that will need attention before balloting completes.  Jon's suggestion to work it in 802.11 seems plausible and it may be more efficient to do just one PAR change.  The extent of what will be needed should be more clear when the draft is more mature.  The important thing is that the input from 802.18 not be forgotten IMO.
