[802SEC] please review the 802.18 Radio Regulatory Technical Advisory Group draft response to the FCC Notice of Inquiry GN Docket No. 17-183 Exploring Flexible Use in Mid-Band Spectrum Between 3.7 GHz and 24 GHz

Dear EC members,

On Thursday this week, 802.18 approved the following draft response to the FCC Notice of Inquiry "Exploring Flexible Use in Mid-Band Spectrum Between 3.7 GHz and 24 GHz Notice of Inquiry, GN Docket No. 17-183" yesterday 14SEP2017, about 18 were present, the vote was 15Y/0N/0A*.  https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/17/18-17-0114-06-0000-ieee-802-response-to-fcc-17-104.docx.

As a heads up, I will delegate the conduct of an 802 EC email ballot to the 802.18 chair, Rich Kennedy (with early close provision and editorial license to the 802 chair) on a motion to approve the draft.  This is a somewhat urgent matter, as I've been instructed to run this response through the IEEE BoD Global Public Policy Committee process, which will take some time.  The deadline for filing is 02 October 2017.
