A notable summary from the ITU SC is:

The JCA IMT-2020 noted several successful 5G activities and IEEE 802 was represented, e.g.
- Inclusion in ITU-T roadmap
- IEEE 802.1 & 802.3 with ITU-T SG15 on
  ”Building Tomorrow’s Networks”
- Considering engagement in IEEE 5GWF
