Subject: RE: [802SEC] PARs under consideration

John,

Note that two of the 802.1 PARs from the March meeting were considered maintenance PARs

    1. 802.1CQ Amendment: Multicast and Local Address Assignment, PAR Extension and CSD
    2. 802.1Q Revision: Bridges and Bridged Networks, PAR

They were on the consent agenda of the April 7th EC conference call.  As a result, I understand them to be approved (though the minutes are not yet posted).

So for the May 28th EC call, 802.1 has one new PAR for consideration:

    1. 802.1ASdm Amendment: Hot Standby, PAR and CSD

Cheers,

Glenn.

I want each WG chair to confirm the respective efforts or to confirm what PARs will be considered on the announced 5/28 meeting – so I can get the webpage updated accordingly.

Thanks
