Re: [802SEC] Draft blog post for review - IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet Task Force

Hi David,

On top of Roger's suggestion, I see that the following appears in both the beginning and the end of the article:
Author: George Zimmerman, IEEE P802.3dg™ Task Force Chair
Authors: George Zimmerman, IEEE P802.3dg Task Force Chair

My suggestion is to remove one of them as it seems to me that it is duplicate.

David,

My compliments on a terrific article. I enjoyed reading it.

Tiny suggestion to consider: the challenges of the noisey environment.

Cheers,

Roger

Dear EC members,

Based on the recent approval of the IEEE P802.3dg PAR, and as a result of the formation of the IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet Task Force, I've arranged for the development of a Beyond Standards blog post.

I would like to request the review of the blog post before proceeding to an email ballot, therefore please provide comments on the draft blog available at <https://mentor.ieee.org/802-ec/dcn/22/ec-22-0107-00-00EC-ieee-p802-3dg-beyond-standards-blog-post.pdf> by Thursday 9th June 2022 AoE (23:59 UTC-12).

Thanks and best regards,
David
