The IEEE 802 Plenary is set to take place in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in November 2023.
In-person and virtual participation will be available, and the following Working Groups will participate: 802.1, 802.3, 802.11, 802.15, 801.18, 802.19, and 802.24.
**Registration Fees and Deadlines**
- *Standard $US 1100.00 *After September 22, until *October 27, 2023*
- *Late/Onsite $US 1400.00 *after October 27, 2023

**Registration Fees Discount**
Registration fees for the November 2023 IEEE 802 Plenary Session shall be discounted
by $US 300.00 for attendees who stay at the IEEE 802 Group Hotel, the
Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki.
Example: Discounted Early Registration would be $US 500.00.
*Reservations must be complete, and a confirmation number must be entered when completing
registration to receive the discounted rate.*

**Taxes and Fees**
The following state and local tax and fee rates apply to each guest room
reservation.
- 10.25 % per room per night
- 4.71 % per room, per night
- 3.00 % per room per night
Example: $US 259.00 guest room, charges total approximately $US 48.00 per
night
**Booking Policy (Credit Card Guarantee)**
Bookings need to be guaranteed by a valid credit card.
This credit card will not be charged in advance of arrival, and payment is due
upon arrival at the hotel by the guest.
Only in case of applying cancellation and No-Show charges,
the hotel will charge credit card.
**Cancellation Policy*Cancellation Deadline: 72 Hours Before Arrival*
- Hotel room reservations can be cancelled free of charge without penalty
until 72 Hours (3 days) before the reservation Check IN Date.
- Afterwards, a cancellation fee for one night’s accommodations will be
made to the credit card on file and the remainder of the reservation
cancelled.
- This penalty applies to each of the reserved rooms cancelled after the
cancellation deadline.
**No Show Policy** In case of no show, the penalty of 100% of the
contracted
room rate per room for one night applies and will be charged.
**Subject to Availability**
All of the IEEE 802 room rates are subject to the availability of the Guest.
Room block.
When the block is sold out, or the October 20, 2023 deadline has passed
market rates will apply.
**Traveling To/From the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki**
Please take the steps to determine how you would like to travel to the
Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki. There are several options within the
city and to/from the airport, including: rental car, airport shuttle, taxi,
and car share rides. The Hilton Hawaiian Village partners include Charley’s
who have desks at the resort.
* *Traveling To/From Honolulu,* HI USA*Please take the steps to determine
if you require travel documentation, including such items as a VISA to attend a
particular IEEE 802 Meeting. The requirements change from time to time.
Because of this, we strongly urge all attendees to review the entry
requirements for travelling to each IEEE 802 meeting location and determine
for themselves or in collaboration with their employer; what if any travel
documentation is required.
**Border Services (Entry and Exit USA) **
Everyone arriving at a port of entry to the U.S. is subject to inspection
by Customs and Border Protection officers for compliance with immigration,
customs and agriculture regulations. The more international travelers know
about what to expect, the easier and quicker the process becomes.
