Re: [802SEC] volunteer orientatioin presenter

Phil Beecher has kindly volunteered and already suggested improvements to the slides. Thanks, Phil.

I’ll work with Jon and Face to Face on the logistics.

Cheers,

Roger

Folks,

I’m seeking a volunteer to present a one-hour in-person (and hybrid) IEEE 802 Orientation program on Nov 13, 9-10 am in Honolulu. Presentation slides are available.

Pre-covid, this program was traditionally presented, in this time slot, by a volunteer who was typically an experienced participant willing to miss this portion of the EC meeting. Recently, it’s been replaced by an electronic-only presentation the week before the Plenary, but attendance has always been much weaker than at the Plenary.

I’m happy to support the volunteer with whatever they need.

If you are interested in doing this presentation, or encouraging someone else to do so, please let me know. I’m happy to answer questions.

Cheers,

Roger
