The following message has been issued to the IEEE 802 ALL Email Reflector. Still, we encourage you to share the information with your membership via the appropriate email reflectors within your Working Group.
If you have any questions or concerns about preparing for the session, including issues with reservations or registration, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Lastly, our offices will be closed for the winter holidays, December 18, 2023, through January 1, 2023. We will check emails and voice mail intermittently, but please know our response time may be delayed.

March 2024 IEEE 802 Plenary Registration and Hotel Reservations Available Now

The March 2024 IEEE 802 Plenary is scheduled at the Hyatt Regency Denver Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, USA.
In-Person and Virtual participation will be available for this session.

Registration Fees and Deadlines
Early $US 800.00 until January 12, 2024
Standard $US 1150.00 After January 12, until March 1, 2024
Late/Onsite $US 1500.00 after March 1, 2024
Student $US 100.00
Registration Fees Discount
Registration fees for the March 2024 IEEE 802 Plenary Session shall be discounted by $US 300.00 for attendees who stay at the IEEE 802 Group Hotel, the Hyatt Regency Denver Colorado Convention Center Denver.
Example: Discounted Early Registration would be $US 500.00.
Reservations must be completed, and a confirmation number must be entered when completing registration to receive the discounted rate.

Group Rate Cutoff Date
February 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time or sooner if the IEEE 802 Group Block is sold out.
Children Under 18 Years of Age
Children under 18 stay free in the same room as parents, if utilizing existing bedding.
Extra Person(s) Rate
For every third and fourth occupant in the room is $15.00 per person, per night plus tax (maximum of four persons).
Booking Policy (Credit Card Guarantee)
Bookings need to be guaranteed by a valid credit card.
This credit card will not be charged in advance of arrival, payment is due upon arrival at the hotel by the guest. Only in case of applying cancellation and/or NoShow charges, the advised credit card will be charged by the hotel.
Booking Cutoff Date
February 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Mountain time or sooner if the IEEE 802 Group Block is sold out.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Deadline: 72 Hours Before Arrival
Hotel room reservations can be cancelled free of charge without penalty until 72 Hours (3 days) prior to reservation Check IN Date.
Afterwards, a cancellation fee for one night’s accommodations will be made to the credit card on file, and the remainder of the reservation will be cancelled.
This penalty applies to each of the reserved rooms cancelled after the cancellation deadline.
No Show Policy
In case of no show, the penalty of 100% of the contracted room rate, per room, for one night, applies and will be charged.
Early Check Out Policy
In the event a Meeting attendee who has reserved a room within the Room Block checks out prior to the reserved checkout date, the Hotel shall charge an early departure fee of one night charge.
Subject to Availability
All of the IEEE 802 room rates are subject to the availability in the Guest Room block.
When the block is sold out or the February 16, 2024 deadline has passed market rates will apply.

Please take the steps to figure out how you would like to travel to the Hyatt Regency Denver Colorado Convention Center Denver. There are several options within the city and to/from the airport including rental car, airport shuttle, taxi, and car share rides.
Traveling To/From Denver, CO USA
Please take the steps to determine if you require travel documentation including such items as a VISA to attend a particular IEEE 802 Meeting. The requirements change from time to time. Because of this, we strongly urge all attendees to review the entry requirements for traveling to each IEEE 802 meeting location and determine for themselves, or in collaboration with their employer, what if any travel documentation is required.
Border Services (Entry and Exit USA) Everyone arriving at a port of entry to the U.S. is subject to inspection by Customs and Border Protection officers for compliance with immigration, customs and agriculture regulations. The more international travelers know about what to expect, the easier and quicker the process becomes.
