To: p8021@hepnet.hep.net Subject: 802.1 Interim Mtg VLAN Agenda Cc: 802exec@hepnet.hep.net Dear Colleague: The 802.1 Interim Meeting will focus on primarily on VLAN as indicated at the Maui 802 meeting. Requests for technical contributions have resulted in none beyond the contribution made by cisco in Maui. After discussion this with a few other 802.1 members, we feel that it appears to be too early for good technical contribution. What is needed is an in-depth meeting where the issues are fully aired. Consequently a tentative agenda for the meeting is given below. The meeting will start at 9am on Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday will be full day affairs. We will ajourn at noon on Friday. See you in Denver, Bill Lidinsky PS. If you haven't already made arrangements for the meeting and wish to come, please contact Karl Shimada (kkarl@netcom.com) for details. +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | Bill Lidinsky 802.1 Chair | | | | Internet: lidinsky@hep.net M/S 368 FCC3E | | Internet: lidinsky@fnal.gov HEPNRC at Fermilab | | Bitnet: lidinsky@fnal P.O.
