ARIEL HENDEL ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MAIN OBJECTION: In my opinion the value of 802.1p is strongly dependent on the ability of upper layers to perform admission control, or equivalent bandwidth management functions. I would like to make sure that 802.1p approval is done once the feasibility of interfacing these functions to 802.1p is shown, and any necessary mechanisms to assist it are considered. TECHNICAL COMMENTS: Section 2.6.6, page 14, lines 20-24 Filtering Mode 2, sub mode B. This mode filters all unregistered Multicast and Unicast addresses. I believe that filtering unregistered Unicasts is not desirable.
