January 2018 Recognition Photographs


   Carlos Cordeiro (right) is recognized by the IEEE 802.11 Working Group chair (Adrian Stephens, left) for his award from the IEEE Standards Association of a Standards Medallion.
  Alfred Asterjadhi (right) is recognized by the IEEE 802.11 Working Group chair (Adrian Stephens, left) for his award from the IEEE Standards Association of a Standards Medallion.
  The IEEE Standards Association made an award for Emerging Technology to the IEEE 802.11 Working Group for the standard IEEE Std 802.11ad-2012 (later incorporated into IEEE 802.11-2016) that provides wireless LAN operation in the 60 GHz band.
  Eldad Perahia (right) was the chair of the Very High Throughput (VHT) study group and the TGad task group that developed the IEEE Std 802.11ad-2012 amendment.
   Vinko Erced was vice-chair of the TGad task group.
   Chris Hansen was vice-chair of the TGad task group.
   Carlos Cordeiro was Technical Editor of the TGad task group.
