Re: [STDS-802-11-CAC] Form of motion to authorize TGah to resolve comments

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Chairs' Advisory Committee Reflector ---

Hello CAC,

I see in this particular matter good reasons for that motion, but ...

I do strongly disagree with having this motion as it establishes a precedent. If we want
to consider this, we should make changes to our operations manual and allow for all
groups in the future to make motions in telcos before having conditional
approval (which I would not like either).

Besides, I do not see any timing constrains that justify this approach. TGah cannot finish
before REVmc is done and we already discussed at previous CAC meetings that the two
groups immediately following REVmc are anyway likely to be put in a sleep state as REVmc
is unlikely to finish before either of the two groups will finish sponsor ballot.

Best,

Marc
