2022-02-21 802.11 CAC-1 for March 2022 Electronic Session

1.       September, November 2021 & January 2022 follow-up items   

    2. September registration status – any individuals not paid will be removed from the voter list and 802.11 reflectors Feb 1, 2022 – 2 people who didn’t pay: one invited for 11bc security questions (will be waived). Other non-responsive. 
    4. November registration status – unpaid attendees – George Zimmerman working on the lists at 802 level 
    6. January 2022 – status: 8 so far.
       

2.       March 2022  

    1. Review agenda graphic: WNG has 2 presentations to date. Goal is to schedule on Tuesday, if possible, for the presenters. Will have firm count of presentations next week. 
    2. Any WG11 plenary requests: Addition of time for discussion of the MAY meeting to Jon’s venue agenda item. 
    3. Planned ballots out of the March meeting – 11bd, others possible, updated expected motions on the Tuesday agenda. 
    4. 802 Technical Plenary reminder: March 3, 9AM Eastern/14UTC. Updates, if any from Mark Hamilton- reminder of next call, discussions ongoing. Janos (TSN) and Alfred are arranging the next joint TGbe and TSN joint call. 
    5. March 4th 802 Plenary EC teleconference Reminder 
    6. Registration reminder slide for chairs to use in agenda announcements - Robert will send out the slide. 
    7. Paid registration for the March 2022 session is required.  817 total so far. dot1 = 145, dot3 = 288, dot11 = 440, dot15 = 149, dot18 = 64, dot19 = 41, dot24 = 24
       

3.       Future meetings   

    1. May 2022 – Warsaw: hybrid/electronic session planned 
      • In person, with remote participation 
      • Base on Warsaw time zone (CET) 
      • Potential to add a later slot during the day, depends on hotel availability 
      • IMAT attendance tool cannot record attendance from Midnight to 6:30 am in the meeting time zone 
    2. March 2nd WCSC meeting will have a presentation on the Meetecho remote access tool 

4.       Still open – September WNG Research discussion possible next steps  

    1. Identify Research contacts  
    2. IEEE Society outreach  
    3. Wider distribution for WNG call for contributions – identify options
