Re: [STDS-802-11-CAC] 802.11 Group Meeting Time and Facilities request for the IEEE 802W Interim - May 2023 May Orlando, FL, USA

Jon,

Is there any way/is it reasonable to request, that there be two microphones at the head table (in the rooms that are additional to the “big room” which usually has two)?  With the hybrid operating mode we are in, I have found a lot of ‘handoff’ interactions going on continuously between the chair and someone who is presenting from the head table.  It’s not a really big deal, but it would remove some overhead effort from chairing, if there were a microphone dedicated for the chair the whole time.  (But, I realize, the venue(s) may have ridiculous charges per microphone or some such that makes this not practical – just asking, in case it is workable.)

Thanks.  Mark
