You do not necessarily need to put 154 in your draft. It is reserved in the ANA database and won’t be allocated for other purposes.

However, I don’t think it hurts to put it in the draft as long as it has a note to the effect that refers to a mode not currently supported. I would, however, add the parameters associated with it: starting freq, channel spacing.

Dear Robert,

thanks for providing the ANA values. I will include them in the next draft. Yes, please, reserve 154 for 320 MHz channel spacing which is of course planned in the future also when using LC (IR).

Best regards - Volker

I’m not sure what to do with “Reserved for near infrared” and have not allocated anything.

Presumably, you want room for contiguous expansion (maybe 320 MHz). To that end, I have allocated away from other allocations: 6 GHz goes to 136. 60 GHz has 180-187. And you have 150-153. Reserved values in between: 137-149, 153-179, 188-190.

BTW, I can mark a value as reserved for a specific future purpose. Should I do that for 154?

Dear Rober,

following a dicussion in TGbb, contained in CID 61 from Mark Hamilton in doc. 11-21/1050r3, could you, please, reserve 5 ANA values for TGbb? These ANA values are required for operation of LC with 20, 40, 80 160 and 320 MHz bandwidth (in the future). For your convenience, I include a snapshot of the related page 52 in TGbb D0.5.

Thanks and best regards – Volker
