[STDS-802-11-TGBE] discussion on 11-20-0432-01-00be-bug-fix-for-acknowledgement-rule-in-multi-link

Dear all,

I present document 11-20/432r1 early this month, try to fixed the issue when Ack polity set to BA. https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/20/11-20-0432-01-00be-bug-fix-for-acknowledgement-rule-in-multi-link.pptx

During the discussion, Matt and other people through the SP text is not clean. The main reasons I understand are 1) The receive status of BA can not know by the transmitter of BA;  2) It may implies the tx and re-tx of BA is free, and without the prompting from the data originator.

Base on the comments, I prepare a updated SP version. Please check if it is more clear than the original one. Text modification base on original SP are also welcome.

The updated SP avoid the

    The receive status of the MSDU or A-MSDU has already be signaled in other available link(s) with corresponding bit in the BA be set to 1;

    The corresponding Ack Policy of the MSDU or A-MSDU is set to No Ack.

Updated SP:  Do you agree to modify acknowledgement rule in multi-link as below:

  The receive status of a MSDU or A-MSDU in a QoS Data frames of a TID received on a link shall be signaled on the same link if a BA response is needed, and the SN of the MSDU or A-MSDU is larger or equal to SSN in BA frame.
