The correct wording format for the motion text should be as follows. Sorry for the confusion.

 

Motion 1:

Move to add the following to 11bf SFD:  

A sensing procedure allows a STA to perform WLAN sensing and obtain measurement results. A sensing session is an instance of a sensing procedure with associated operational parameters of that instance.

 

Motion 2:

Move to add the following to 11bf SFD:  

    • Sensing initiator and sensing responder
      • Sensing initiator: a STA that initiates a WLAN sensing session
      • Sensing responder: a STA that participates in a WLAN sensing session initiated by a sensing initiator
    • Sensing transmitter and sensing receiver
      • Sensing transmitter: a STA that transmits PPDUs used for sensing measurements in a sensing session
      • Sensing receiver: a STA that receives PPDUs sent by a sensing transmitter and performs sensing measurements in a sensing session
    • A STA can assume multiple roles in one sensing session.

This is a reminder and call for submissions for the upcoming teleconference call on January 12, 13, 14 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), 9:00 – 11:00am ET. 

 

         The initial agenda document is posted:

Please note:

  1. Please send the agenda request at least 24 hours prior to the call, following the format below:

•     DCN, Title, Author (affiliation), Time duration

  1. I will cancel the call if there is no request received 24 hours prior to a call.
  2. Please upload your submissions (revision 0) on mentor 24 hours prior to the meeting so that members would have a chance to review those submissions offline. Otherwise,
    1. If there is not enough time during the meeting, the presentation will be delayed to the next meeting.
    2. If there is enough time during the meeting, the presentation will be moved to the end of the queue and be presented in the end. However, any related SP should be delayed to the next meeting.
  3. Please send the motion request around 10+5 days before the meeting, so that the TG chair could send the 10 day advance notice to the 802.11 reflector, after getting the approval from the WG chair.
