Hi All,

After I present and run SP for 11-22-0223-03-00bf-pdt-sbp-frames, I received some offline comments for the 'SBP subtype' field and I think it make sense to go back to the approach of "SBP request/response/termination frames are differentiated by different Action field values", so I uploaded a rev 4 to the mentor, and please do send me an email if you have any comments for it, thanks!

And the reason for this change is as following:

In the the baseline spec,  order 1 and 2 fields (e.g., Category field and Public Action field) of the Action frames make the frames different.

Order 2 field indicates multiple frames belonging to the same category.

The convention is kept also for the separation of class 1 frames. In this case, the part after orders 1 and 2 is the same for different order 1 and 2 values.

The space of the Order 2 field allows defining up to 255 frames belonging to the category. There are about 200 free places, even in the most populated Public category.

In the baseline spec, all of the different Request and Response and other frames defined in the frames of action subtype of the type management follow this convention.

The introduction of the subtype unnecessarily changes the convention and may lead to overcomplication and misunderstanding in the relevant definitions.

BR,

Chaoming
