[STDS-802-11-TGBH] FW: [STDS-802-11] IEEE 802.11 Mandatory Technical Letter Ballot 284 for P802.11bh Draft 4.0 Starts today and ends 2024-04-06 at 23:39 ET

TGbh participants,

  1. A note that this ballot is open (you should have gotten this information on the WG reflector, already)
  2. A reminder that if you agreed to change your vote to “Approve” on the last ballot round, it is easiest if you would explicitly vote Accept on this round just to set the record straight.  Of course, if you have new issues arising from this draft, you have the ability to vote as you see fit.  But, we are assuming your Accept vote will help us carry through to get SA ballot started.

Thanks!  Mark

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---

IEEE 802.11 Voters,

With this email, the 802.11 Working Group is officially beginning WG Technical Letter Ballot 284 (LB284), asking the question:

"Shall WG11 forward P802.11bh D4.0 to Standards Association (SA) Ballot?"

The WG motion approving this recirculation WGLB was approved in the WG11 March 2024 closing plenary meeting, see https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/24/11-24-0240-04-0000-march-2024-working-group-motions.pptx.

This Letter Ballot opens Thursday March 21, 2024 and will close 15 days later on Saturday April 6, 2024 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm). All necessary documents are available in the instructions on the IEEE 802.11 web site at https://www.ieee802.org/11/LetterBallots/LB284bh/LB284_instructions.html.

Important:

  • This is a 15-day Technical letter ballot and the ballot group (i.e., those that may vote) for this ballot consists of the voters in the ballot pool.
  • If you cast a "Do not approve" vote on this ballot, it must be accompanied by comments for your vote to be valid.
  • You must follow these instructions to vote. Do not send an email to vote. Voting by any method other than the web-based process described here will invalidate your vote.
  • Failure to follow these instructions will result in your vote being discarded as an invalid vote.
  • Not voting on a letter ballot series or sending an invalid vote can affect your voting privileges.
  • The draft is password protected in accordance with IEEE 802 Policies and Procedures. To obtain the draft, use the username and the password supplied to active members for the 802.11 WG private area.

(The attached file contains a reminder set for 4 days before the close of the ballot. You may find it helpful to import this into or open this with your calendar client in order to get an automated reminder.)

Thank you for participating and please let me know of any questions.

Robert Stacey,

IEEE 802.11 Working Group Chair

Mark Hamilton,

IEEE 802.11 TGbh Chair
