Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBN] Latest Agenda Uploaded (Madrid F2F)

Hi Alfred,

Could you please add two SPs in the MAC queue for the following PDT/CR documents? Thanks.

25/1140r1, PDT MAC CR for AP PUO, 1 CID 269

25/1130r1, PDT MAC CR for PUO, 1 CID 1596

Hi all,

Please let me know if you have any comments. The documents were presented during Ad-Hoc session, and r1 adds some descriptions for comparison.

  • D0.3, AP/STA is unavailable for certain TWT SPs: peer STAs need certain scheduling/queuing/transmitting policy to track the availability/unavailability and SP start/stop time of the AP/STA, adding complexity given the queueing delay and channel access delay are unpredictable and the TSF/SP alignment between the AP/STA and peer STAs is not guaranteed
  • Proposed changes, AP/STA is in lower capability mode for certain TWT SPs: peer STAs do not need special scheduling/queueing/transmitting policy or strict timing/SP alignment with the AP/STA. Peer STAs can still check the current status of the AP/STA, e.g., by ICF/ICR

Best regards

Yongsen

Hi Alfred,

Could you please add the following straw poll (Co-RTWT related) to the TGbn MAC SP queue?

Do you agree to add the following text to the TGbn SFD:

“11bn shall define a mechanism that enables an AP to solicit a peer AP to share the TXOPs in the SPs of an R-TWT schedule of the peer AP.

- The solicitation uses the MAPC agreement negotiation procedure

- The solicitation is included in a response to a request for protection of that R-TWT schedule

- The peer AP indicates in the request for protection if the solicitation will be accepted

- Sharing the TXOP is based on the Co-TDMA procedure

- The request for protection can indicate which type(s) of sharing will be accepted if sent in the solicitation

- The type of sharing is one or more of:

 - 1) For the TXOPs of the R-TWT schedule that overlap the start time of any R-TWT SP of the AP that the peer AP protects, the peer AP shall poll the AP and, if requested to, shall share a portion of the TXOP with the AP and may elect not to end its TXOP before the start time of the overlapped R-TWT SP

 - 2) For the TXOPs of the R-TWT schedule, the peer AP shall poll the AP and, if requested to, shall share a portion of the TXOP with the AP

Supporting docs: 24/1457r0, 25/0289r2, 25/0276r0

To provide some context, this SP is basically a revision of a previous SP that was run during on the 5 Jun MAC teleconference.

It addresses the concerns I received at that time and harmonises with Brian’s proposal in 25/0276r0 (presented on 10 Apr)

Best regards,
Gaius

Hello all,

Please find the link to the latest agenda. Please review all submissions and let me know if i missed anything. As of now i only populated Day 1 with submissions since the MAC PDT/CRs queues have contributions that are mostly presented.

to help in organizing for the next days, and in particular for PDT/CRs that have already been presented please let me know which day they are expected to be ready to be re-presented or ran SPs. We will also use the Joint slots for running SPs and making progress on the PDT/CRs so please keep that in mind as well.

See you tomorrow.

Regards,

Alfred
