Hi Morteza,

In your example of bandwidth expansion from 160 to 320MHz, I was referring to the case of 80MHz DSO non-APs only which had DSO subband = secondary 80. Reassignment can be relevant for only those 80MHz STAs, right? There is no meaning of reassignment of DSO subband to 160MHz or 320MHz STAs in this example.

So, my question is how the reassignment of 80Hz STAs can be facilitated. DSO allows utilization of full 320MHz with just 80MHz non-APs and should not be dependent on the presence of 160/320MHz non-APs. That was also the motivation for having DSO and DBE operate together.

Currently, there is no other way than for the AP to remove DSO support and add it back which will then make each non-AP re-enable DSO. This is because now, the reassignment of DSO subband can be initiated only by a non-AP
