For the change for CID 4456, you say that the backoff is invoked at PHY-RXEND.indication
But you are referring to a transmission failure, an ICF did not receive an ICR.
So the backoff might be invoked at the end of the TX, which would be PHY-TXEND.indication.

In general, the definitions for failure are found in:

10.23.2.2 EDCA backoff procedure


And the backoff is invoked when the failure occurs.
The failure is actually related in the most common case of a missing response, to the end of the timeout for that response.

So the backoff being invoked at either PHY-RXEND.indication or PHY-TXEND.indication is incorrect.
The backoff should simply be invoked because of one of the failure types listed in 10.23.2.2
You do not need to repeat that here.

You have:

(#4456) If a BSRP Trigger frame or a BSRP NTB Trigger frame is transmitted as an ICF to initiate a TXOP and the transmitter fails to receive the corresponding ICR, the transmission of the BSRP Trigger frame or the BSRP NTB Trigger frame is interpreted as a failure, and the transmitter shall invoke its backoff procedure at the PHY-RXEND.indication primitive.

I would replace that with:

NOTE: If a BSRP Trigger frame or a BSRP NTB Trigger frame is transmitted as an ICF to initiate a TXOP and the transmission result is a failure, then the STA follows the backoff procedure as indicated in 10.23.2.2.
