Hi Serhat, Thanks for your work on the problem. I am afraid that if switching threshold is so flexible then devices can not react timely.
What’s more, it is needed to maintain an additional variable to record NAV value at time of switching, for controlling channel access behavior. This variable is solely for preventing
channel access in non-zero basic NAV case. But I get your intention of avoiding interfering with OBSS transmission. If we are going to solve the problem, I suggest not to switch if basic NAV on BSS primary channel is non-zero.
Suggested text is:
e. If the STA maintains an intra-BSS NAV, it is zero at the time of the receipt of the PHYCCA.indication(BUSY) primitive associated with the PPDU.
f. The basic NAV is zero at the time of the receipt of the PHYCCA.indication(BUSY) primitive associated with the PPDU. Thanks for your consideration! Best regards, Yue Zhao 发件人: Serhat Erkucuk <serkucuk@xxxxxxxxxx>
Dear all, I presented today the document 26/428r1, which addresses comments regarding "Switching to the NPCA primary channel" when the NAV is non-zero. I revised the document based on the comments received during the presentation: As there were more people queued, I am starting this thread for further comments and discussions. Looking forward to your feedback, if any. Thanks, Serhat To unsubscribe from the STDS-802-11-TGBN list, click the following link:
