Hi, Matthew
Thank you for the effort in this document.
Regarding the proposed resolution text for NPCA STAs operating during an R-TWT SP, I agree with that NPCA STAs must follow the rules in 35.8.4.
However, I have two main concerns with the current wording“If an NPCA STA is an R-TWT scheduled STA, then the STA shall follow the rules in 35.8.4 (Channel access rules for R-TWT SPs), even while the NPCA STA is operating on the NPCA primary channel, except that the EDCAF parameters operate per the rules in this subclause.”:
1.The current text only addresses the NPCA STA as an R-TWT scheduled STA. I believe these also apply to a NPCA STA as the R-TWT scheduling AP.
2.The phrase "except that the EDCAF parameters operate per the rules in this subclause" is slightly ambiguous and could cause confusion regarding how the parameters are practically applied.
To resolve these two points, I suggest modifying the sentence as follows:
"If an R-TWT SP, in which the NPCA STA acts as the R-TWT scheduling AP or an R-TWT scheduled STA, occurs while the NPCA STA is operating on the NPCA primary channel, the NPCA STA shall follow the TXOP and backoff procedure rules as described in 35.8.4.1 (TXOP and backoff procedure rules for R-TWT SPs), except that the EDCAF parameters operate per the rules in this subclause."
I look forward to your thoughts on this adjustment.
BRs,
Yajun
