Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBN] TGbn MAC AM2: document 26/1729r3 uploaded

Ack. Motion will look like this (all, let me know if any issues with this post-SP amendment).

Move to approve resolutions to the CIDs (18C):

16019 16020 16022 17256 17259 17263 19761 19764 19768 20011 20012 20013 20014 20015 20016 20382 20961 20966 17999 in 11-26/1729r4* [18 CIDs]

and incorporate the text changes into the latest TGbn draft.

Result:

Note: These are CRDs that obtained ≥ 75% support during the straw poll phase of the MAC ad-hoc of Monday AM2 of September 14, 2026.

* Added 1799 as per author’s request and e-mail to reflector. No changes to the proposed changes from r3 to r4

Thanks Tomy for pointing this out.

I created a fourth revision, in which the only change is adding CID 17999 to the CID resolution table. Same resolution as 20012, no text changes.

@Alfred Asterjadhi could you please populate the motion with 26/1729r4 (instead of r3) as reference CR document, and add to the motion the resolution of CID # 17999?

Thanks,
Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

Thank you for your work.
Could you please add CID #17999 to Group 1 in 26/1729, together with CID #20012? CID #17999 is basically aligned with the modification in the document.

The definition of Message Type 2 in Table 9-658bg combines the functions of different transmission directions in a single entry. This looks chaotic and is likely to cause confusion. For clarity, the meaning of Message Type 2 should be described separately depending on the transmitter.
Change meaning of Type=2 to "When transmitted by a non-AP MLD, it indicates an early termination of the DL draining period, or DL block ack information, or both;
 When transmitted by the current AP MLD, it indicates no more DL data, or an indication of DL data completion for the requested TIDs, in response to the non-AP MLD's request".
Thank you.
