Hi Guogang,

Thanks for your work on the SMD BSS comments. I agree with your proposed change for CID 19899 (labeled 19897 in the proposed changes).

Could we just clarify that the current AP MLD informs the target AP MLD only after successfully transmitting the corresponding ST execution response? Otherwise, the target could be activated before the response is successfully delivered to the non-AP MLD.

I’d propose the following sub-phrase (in yellow), on p. 398, line 16:

• If a separate MAC SAP per AP MLD is used as described in 37.16.1 (Introduction), the current AP MLD may, only after successfully transmitting the corresponding ST execution response to the non-AP MLD, inform the target AP MLD may to initiate the DS mapping update for the non-AP MLD and unblock the IEEE 802.1X Controlled Port for general data traffic to pass between the non-AP MLD and the target AP MLD.
