Sorry for the last minute request.
We have similar discussion in the WPT PDT, can we have some further discussion on excitation waveform definition.  I have following suggestions in red:

An AMP Energizer is a non-HT, HT, VHT, HE, EHT or UHR STA that is capable of transmitting WPT waveform and/or excitation waveform. The WPT waveform is transmitted in the sub-1 GHz band. The excitation waveform is transmitted in the sub-1 GHz band or the 2.4 GHz band.

I have revised the PDT for Components of architecture based on feedback received. Key changes:

1. Added generic definition of non-AP AMP STA.

2. Added a new subclause 4.5.X (AMP services) to describe services provided by AMP AP, similar to 4.5.11 Wake-up radio (WUR) services.

3. Added 2 acronyms

Thanks a lot for the first draft!

 

Regarding the first sentence:

I don’t think it’s the intention to restrict the AMP AP to be a “non-HT, HT, VHT, HE, or UHR AP”, but be more general and also allow a “non-HT, HT, VHT, HE, or UHR STA” to transmit and receive AMP PPDUs. Let’s have some discussion about this, preferably during this meeting.

 

Furthermore, as we differentiate between uplink and downlink AMP PPDUs it should be explicit that the AMP AP can only transmit AMP Downlink PPDUs and receive AMP Uplink PPDUs. Furthermore, maybe the capability to transmit AMP PPDUs with excitation parts should be optional? But probably this does not belong in this section.
