Dear all, I have uploaded 11-26/0033r0 (https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/26/11-26-0033-00-00bt-mitigation-of-dos-attacks-in-ieee-802-11-pake-protocols.pptx),
which addresses the vulnerability of PAKE to DoS attacks. My understanding is that the group considers this to be a problem worth addressing, and that, ideally, a mitigation mechanism ought to be implemented by all STAs, including low-end STAs. In this contribution
I point out that there are low-complexity mitigation mechanisms that are implementation friendly for both AP STAs and non-AP STAs. Comments and questions are very welcome.
