Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBT] 11-26/263r1

  Blanca,

Yes, that’s the one. I think the fact that it was made right before TGbt-M-9 is an interesting piece of information that is lost by separating motions from straw polls in the minutes. The sequence of events was:

  • Straw poll: Do you want A or B? B is preferred 34-11
  • Motion for B: fails 27-52
  • Motion for A: passes 77-14

Why do your minutes not represent the chronology of the meeting?

  Regards,

  Dan.

Dan,

Is your inquiry on SP TGbt-SP-7: PQC 802.1X Dan Harkins (HPE) on page 24?

  Hi Blanca,

The minutes from the January session don’t seem to fully reflect what happened (or at least my memory of what happened). Before the motion listed as TGbi-M-9 in the minutes I made a straw poll and the results were something like 33-11. This straw poll is not in the minutes. Can you say why?

  Regards,

  Dan.
