I have uploaded another update to the MAC ad hoc comment resolution spreadsheet, here: https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/17/11-17-0927-66-000m-revmd-mac-comments.xls

 

This includes the “Motion MAC-AV” tab, with 11 CIDs that are ready for motion during Thursday’s (9/17) REVmd meeting: 5017, 5038, 5042, 5043, 5049, 5050, 5051, 5062, 5063, 5066, 5078.

 

MOTIONS also anticipated tomorrow:

  • CIDs 5058 and 5061: Rejected.   This comment was discussed on CRC teleconferences on Sept 9 and 16, and no consensus could be reached.  Some concerns included that changing the reference point to the TXNAV should be the NAV instead, or perhaps both; perhaps referencing the end of the TXOP limit was more clear, although this raised concerns the sentence and the following sentence became circular with each other; and that the current text was already clear and should not be modified.
  • CID 5068: This is being worked further, off-line and a proposed resolution is expected on tomorrow’s teleconference, to be motioned when presented and discussed.
  • CID 5008: An updated proposed resolution is contained in 11-20/1104r4, and will be discussed on tomorrow’s teleconference, to be motioned when presented and discussed.

 

If anyone has comments on the above motions/direction, please respond on the reflector so all concerns can be aired and sorted by tomorrow’s call.

This includes one tab, “Motion MAC-AU” with 6 CIDs that are ready for motion during the interim meeting: CIDs 5003, 5004, 5013, 5032, 5045, 5070.

 

There are 15 comments still to be resolved, all are assigned and on tabs per Assignee.
