[STDS-802-11-TGM] 802.11 REVme MAC ad hoc comment spreadsheet update (Motions on Mon, Aug 29)

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---

All,

I have posted an updated comment spreadsheet for 802.11 REVme, here: https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/21/11-21-0793-25-000m-revme-mac-comments.xls

This includes CIDs that are ready for motion (on the “Motion MAC-AV” tab), to be considered on the Aug 29 telecon: 2325, 1631, 1621, 1620, 1612, 1596, 1579, 1576, 1120, 1522, 1651, 2356, 2355, 2195, 1032, 1206, 1126, 1125, 1121, 1555, 1904, 1216, 1215, 1190, 2183, 2138, 2125, 2063, 2008, 1634, 1913, 1635, 1896, 1865, 1804, 1761, 1757, 1669, 1663, 1230, 1945.

This also includes one CID on a separate motion at the Aug 29 telecon: CID 2067.

Also, note that those CIDs listed on the “No consensus” tab are considered to have been discussed in the group, and (so far) no agreement/consensus has been reached on a way forward, so those will be rejected unless some agreement can be found.  I’ll be creating a brief summary of the discussion had to-date, and views that did not have agreement, as part of their rejection reasons, so if anyone has specific points they would like to contribute, let me know.

Many other comments have Proposed Changes in the comment which is insufficient in detail to be actionable by the Editors, and unless further discussion/clarification of these is found by the Sept meeting, they are likely to be rejected for our insufficient details rationale.  I’ll be contacting the Assignee for each of these in the next few days, as a reminder that we need a submission with sufficient direction before Sept (and we’re running out of agenda time to discuss these) if they are not to be rejected.

Thanks.  Mark
